Pay Rate: $25-$35/hr
Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm

Job Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Technician performs inspections and completes required documentation. The QC Technician completes in-process inspections, as well as First Piece and other inspections as assigned, and works to promote problem resolution.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Writing CMM programs on Zeiss CMM using Calypso software.
• Work with engineering relating to fixture design.
• Writing part inspection plans.
• Measuring First Article Inspections and creating their reports.
• Perform QC inspections using hand gages, Zeiss CMM, profilometer, interferometer, measuring microscope.
• Charting.
• Controlling nonconforming product.
• Strong communication skills needed to promote problem resolution.
• Receiving inspections.
• Other duties as assigned. 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous inspection experience including optical measurements.
• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience and proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software a big plus. 
• Computer skills a must. A strong working knowledge of excel is required.
• MS Access experience a plus.
• Very good visual acuity a must.
• Leadership skills a plus.
