Job Description
Teams up with leaders across branch and small business banking to prioritize and organize business initiatives. Guides the BBSB leaders with expert advice to enhance overall team efficiency. Helps drive meetings and focus through effective planning and coordination. Sets key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance and leads business management routines. Provides hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor the progress. Acts on behalf of the Head of Branch & Small Business Banking to answer inquiries and proactively escalate and resolve potential issues. Steers strategic business initiatives from genesis to fruition. Pinpoints and addresses core issues within business processes. Presents to the Head of Branch Banking and directs and other senior leaders with detailed company information. Evaluates risk factors when making critical business decisions. Completes special projects and national initiatives with skillful oversight and support. Leads meetings and workshops with meticulous planning and coordination. Identifies areas of improvement across the organization and makes actionable recommendations. Supports day to day operations across Branch and Small Business Banking driving a cohesive approach to key business activities. Leads business management routines includes- Business reviews (e.g., MBR, QBR, SBR, LOB) and oversight annual budget development, including preparation of Management Committee and other executive presentations. Supports day to day operations across Branch and Small Business Banking driving a cohesive approach to key business activities includes: (e.g., coordination with partners on internal/external events, employee survey action planning, expense/mgt management, national leadership meetings, sponsorships, etc.).
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of experience in project management and leadership activities
Six or more years of managerial experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
Demonstrated management and leadership skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of project management
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hybrid/flexible schedule:
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $188,530.00 - $221,800.00 - $243,980.00
