DESCRIPTIONThe CMM Operator operates CMM equipment to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components using previously prepared inspection programs to determine acceptance or rejection. Evaluates parts against standards by reviewing blueprints and schematics and using measuring tools. Assists in the preparation of and performs ISO 9001 internal audits.RESPONSIBILITIES
Write and/or edit programs for inspection of tooling and partsDetermine program requirements based on design and engineering requirementsOperate precision machinery as neededProduce easily understood, visually appealing inspection reports that include well-written descriptions, 3D pictures, data tables, etc.Maintain work areas and equipment in clean and orderly conditions, following prescribed safety regulations inside and outside plantsMaintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsMaintain continuity between coworkers and/or shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsDocument actions by completing production timesheetsAccomplish organizational and group goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsAdditional duties as assigned
SCHEDULE
Monday to Saturday10-hour shifts Monday - Friday, 6-hour shift SaturdayOvertime availableDay shift, night shift, and overnight shift available
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of previous CMM operation experience strongly preferredPrevious experience with PC-DMIS or equivalent inspection software strongly preferredAbility to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges requiredUnderstanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, CATIA, ENOVIA, and GD&T requiredAbility to pass a background check in compliance with the lawAbility to pass a drug test in compliance with the lawTo conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicants should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. government
