Position Requirements
Responsibilities
Collect, track, maintain, consolidate, and analyze data sets related to varying OCIO budget portfolios (e.g., IT Portfolio, Capital Investment Funds, Cyber Capital Investment Funds)Support and advise on CPIC, PIR, IT Portfolio Management processesProvide hands on strategic and tactical advisory services to improve the Agency's CPIC process while reducing complexity and burdenMake recommendations for improvements to the project and portfolio management policies, procedures, and processes using industry best practices in CPIC and portfolio managementServe as primary point of contact between Agency and Components regarding Component CPIC Activities to ensure effective communication between both sets of organizationsProvide advisory and coaching support to Components CPIC staff and key stakeholders on CPIC processes and programmatic issuesAnalyze cost data and investment performance metrics to inform decision-making and support the optimization of IT investmentsLead efforts to update processes, review policies, and implement improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT capital planning and portfolio managementFacilitate workshops, meetings and stakeholder interviewsDevelop and deliver CPIC training coursesGather, organize input, and participate in CPIC, PIR, IRB, and other meetingsReview and update Agency CPIC guidance as changes occur from OMB and other oversight bodiesCollaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, with the ability to build direct working relationships with ROCIMG and client teamsAnalyze and synthesize information, formulate and test hypotheses, to draw accurate, logical, and actionable conclusions, and develop and communicate recommendationsDevelop written work products, e.g., process improvement, training content, presentations, research papers, financial analyses, reports, meeting minutesPropose and develop metrics and dashboards to demonstrate business benefitsPresent results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team membersDevelop communications tailored to specific audiencesWork in agile, collaborative environmentsBe flexible, agile, and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies and subject mattersDrive an independent workstream in the context of a broader project teamSupport marketing, business development and internal activities that are designed to advance the firmSupport on-demand analysis and tasksPosition Requirements
Formal Education, Certification & Experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a 4-year accredited college or universityMinimum five years' CPIC work experienceFive (5) years' experience supporting federal government clientsIdeal Candidates Possess the Following Qualities
