DescriptionThe Network Administrator must demonstrate the ability to: Analyze the planning, design, development, and implementation of system and network engineering plans for our Intelligence Community customers. Monitor all activities of the network facilities and ensure high quality data transmission. Provide technical support for all customer facing engagements/interactions, including receipt of specifications, design, test, and response to service requests. Debug and test networks, analyze technical projects, perform needs assessments, analyze and/or oversee cost and benefit estimates, presentations, negotiations, installations, problem resolutions, procurements, and multi-vendor product integration. Provide initial engineering and implementation support of networks to assure proper execution and provides resolution for system failures or degradations, as needed. Provide project management and documentation, as required. It is expected that the candidate will at times participate in, and / or facilitate stakeholder meetings as required. Proven ability to delegate tasks, comprehensively and in parts is necessary to be successful in this environment.

ClearanceA current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

RequirementsTen (10) years' of experience with network/system administration. Bachelor's degree in a computer science field required or fourteen (14) years' of experience with network administration in lieu of a degree

Required skills:Strong Linux Experience - maintaining CENTOS, REdhat/RHEL.Experience deploying (rack, stack, network) VMWare ESXi hosts and deploying/maintaining (100's of) virtual machinesExperience with basic containerization technologies like Docker and/or PodmanFamiliarization with Cisco networking devices (e.g. Firewalls, Switches, ISRs) to include device integration and configuration.Ability to maintain software development infrastructure supporting multiple environments (networks) in a fast-paced, highly technical environmentAbility to take initiative and make recommendations on existing infrastructuresSecurity + CE or equivalent to be IAM Level II qualifiedPossession of excellent oral and written communication skillsDesired skills:

Experience with Cisco Firepower (w/ Threat Defense) product linesExperience deploying and administering a RHEL Satellite serverExperience with maintaining Network Appliance (Netapp) storage arrays or technologiesExperience with maintaining a Windows 7 or Windows 10 desktop environmentExperience with maintaining a Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy environmentExperience with Oracle Hardware and Solaris OS (x86 and SPARC).Experience with facilitating and/or implementing Information Security Best Practices (patching, IAVA remediation, POA&M development, other security compliance initiatives)Experience with maintaining and administration of Cisco networking devicesExperience with maintaining network cabling infrastructure, including copper and fiber cablingExperience with Splunk loggingExperience with NESSUS vulnerability scanningFamiliarity with Kanban / Agile methodologiesFamiliarity with Jira, Redmine, other project management applicationsBenefitsErias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits.
