Our company is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Forklift Operator. The focus of this position will be achieving the efficient movement, storage, staging, loading, and unloading of supplies, raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods through:
The safe use of powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment.The safe preparation of materials to be moved, used, stored, and shipped safely.This activity is expected to represent at least 25% of work time and cannot be performed seated on the forkliftThe effective use of company systems and processes to accurately record information about materials and finished goods, including but not limited to their source, disposition, location, destination, classification, identification, and quantity.The effective use of company systems and processes to prioritize tasks and follow work instructions.BENEFITS:

Abilities, Skills, Experience, and Certification
3 - 5 years' experience operating powered forkliftsLess than 6 months of recent experienceForklift Operator Certification preferredKnowledge of various pieces of material-handling equipment is preferredProficient in basic mathematicsStrong understanding of OSHA regulationsMust have experience in forklift inspections.Must be able to perform other duties assigned by Supervisor or ManagerPossess a high regard for safety in the workplaceMust Pass a Company Forklift Certification TestJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be able to demonstrate proficient operation of a forklift to pass certification testUse wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventoryAdhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the companyPerform cycle counts as requiredPick, wrap and stage orders to be shippedInspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipmentIdentify safety hazards in the workplaceConsolidate partial pallets for incoming goodsClean and prep all material handling and stocking areasMust have experience in forklift inspections.
