A leading healthcare organization is immediately seeking to hire a skilled Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with a minimum of 5 years of experience. In this role, you will provide high-quality surgical care to patients requiring spine-related procedures. The position offers a competitive annual salary of $350,000 to $500,000 and a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities:
Perform spine surgeries, including but not limited to discectomies, spinal fusions, and laminectomies, with precision and adherence to best practices,Diagnose and treat disorders affecting the spine, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and degenerative diseases,Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient consultations, surgical planning, and follow-up visits to ensure successful recovery,Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients,Utilize the latest technology and techniques to improve patient outcomes, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical approaches when applicable,Educate patients and their families on spine procedures' risks, benefits, and expected outcomes to ensure informed decision-making,Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction,Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, surgical procedures, and follow-up evaluations,Stay current with developments in orthopedic spine surgery by attending conferences, participating in continuing education, and engaging in professional development, andUphold safety standards and adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements..
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school,Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program,Fellowship training in orthopedic spine surgery or a related subspecialty,Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery,Valid state medical license and ability to practice in Kansas City,Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, with a focus on spine procedures.Proficiency in performing a variety of spine surgeries, including the use of advanced surgical techniques (e.g., minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery),Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in treating spinal disorders,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams,Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in orthopedic spine surgery, andAbility to work in a fast-paced hospital environment while delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Type:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
Pay Level:
$350,000 - $500,000 per year.
Benefits:
2 weeks of PTO in the first year, 3 weeks after the second year.One week of sick days.401K with a match of the first 6% after the first year.CME allowance of $1,000 plus 3 paid days per year.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
