We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time contract opportunity for a home care position in Chicago, IL.The Occupational Therapist plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs in a home care environment to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities. He or she teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.The OT will also study, evaluate, and record patients' activities and progress. He or she may also:-Evaluate a patient's condition and needs-Develop a treatment plan for patients, identifying specific goals and the types of activities that will be used to help the patient work toward those goals-Educate a patient's family and employer about how to accommodate and care for the patient
