Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking to add a Full Time GI Scope Washer who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center!Welcome to Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center!As a GI Scope Washer at Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.We take pride in our friendly and supportive work environment, where continuity and trust are nurtured through stable and long-lasting relationships with our patients. :The Scope Washer is responsible for the preparation of equipment and supplies used for
endoscopy scope reprocessing environment in accordance with the Standards of Practice and Policies and Procedures.Job Responsibilities:Prior to the start of the reprocessing process of scopes for the day:The Scope technician well check equipment to assure appropriate working orderAssist Pre-op with patient flowKeep accurate logs of scope reprocessing maintenanceOrder reprocessing supplies and send out scopes for repairsAfter the endoscopy procedure is completed the technician will:Clean endoscopeDispose of soiled linen and trashWipe all surfaces with antiseptic solutionMaintain cleaning log for endoscopesAssist with restocking of supplies in endoscopy unitMaintain a clean and safe environmentProvide flexible staffing hours to meet patient care needsAssist in other areas as neededQUALIFICATIONS:High school graduate or equivalentCurrent CPR certificationOne year experience in an endoscopy environment preferred.Experience as a sterile processing tech preferredWhat We Offer:As a valued member of USPI, your health and well‑being are important to us.
