Overview

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for answering sales calls, emails and providing customer quotes at the best market value. This position is responsible for maintaining up to date and current product costs to aid in providing accurate quotes to customers and potential customers. Those in this position are required to follow up and maintain knowledge of paperwork, trace, and certifications of parts.

Specific Accountabilities

Correspond with customers via email, phone, ILS, Aeroxchange, and Partsbase for requests for price, availability, and lead time for the sale of parts and repairsEnter vendor quotes into the system to ensure an accurate FMVUtilize company business system (Quantum Control) and portal data to identify and document customer needs and maintain continuous communication regarding open part orders, SPECS, and part availabilityGather information regarding airline fleets and possible changes to the fleetsWork closely with outside sale rep to support assigned customer accountsCommunicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company personnelPresent and sell company products and services to current and potential clients, including spare packagesIdentify and contact sales prospects, and other accounts as assignedFollow up on existing customers to maintain customer satisfactionCreate and manage sales orders until the order is fulfilledBroker Parts when necessaryNotify PLM when parts should be sent out for repairPush parts packages to customersFollow up on Repair Orders so parts are delivered when promisedAssist accounting with collection of outstanding invoicesQualifications

High school or GED equivalent required; college degree preferredStrong Computer Skills, including Microsoft OfficeDetail oriented and strong organizational skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyStrong written and communication skillsGeneral understanding of the aviation industry
