Position Description:
LCG is hiring for a JAMF Administrator who will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Apple device deployments within our organization. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration, security, and user support across our macOS and iOS environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement in our device management processes.Configuration policies, test and document findings, update and effectively communicate procedures.Create documentation for downstream support teams as well as train Desktop Support on new processes.Planning and Implementation of macOS upgrades and rollout.Maintain client hardware standards, including client configuration, and test new technology to improve our computing environment.Planning and administration of enterprise software, including deployment and package management (e.g., MS O365, VPN, Symantec DLP).Establish and enforce a standard Mac provisioning process to ensure a uniform and secure device fleet.Perform well-organized and timely deployments of applications, major upgrades, security updates, and patches.Drive client security, and best practices in an enterprise environment.Work as the escalation point between different support teams for issues related to macOS.Diagnose and investigate unique and complex systemic problems.Command line packaging in JAMF Composer or other macOS/Apple packaging tools as required.Active Directory integration.Automation via JAMF and/or scripting.Keep up with the Apple and JAMF communities and use the information to improve the Apple/Mac device management across the enterprise.Requirements:
1-3 years of demonstrated experience managing and administering servers (e.g., MacOS, etc.)Skills maintaining data files and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity.Experience installing patches and resolving software related issues.JAMF 100 Certification.Preferred Qualifications:
JAMF 200 Certification.Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance productivity in daily network and security administration tasks, including drafting security protocols, generating incident reports, summarizing threat analysis meetings, and preparing technical presentations.Skilled in guiding team members to leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot tools to improve collaboration, streamline network security workflows, and optimize system management and threat mitigation processes.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $100,900 to $125,700 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary for this role is $115,500. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
