The Senior Manager, Marketing, Americas, which encompasses, the United States, Canada, and Latin America, is responsible for leading and executing a robust marketing and communications strategy across GMAC's products, services and channels to achieve the awareness, engagement, preference and decision goals for the region. The role works closely with regional peers in Market Development (MD) and with relevant colleagues including team members in School and Industry Engagement and partner departments - Global Product Marketing and digital marketing, Assessments, Legal, and Technology. All contribute to the development and implementation of GMAC's market development, marketing, and communications efforts worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

In partnership with the Regional Director, Americas & Europe, develop and manage a robust marketing and communications strategy, across GMAC's products, services and channels, that aligns with the business goals for the Americas region and ladders to the Global Product Marketing strategy on the consumer/candidate side inclusive of the digital paid media strategy.Develop and execute regional strategy for digital and in-person candidate engagement activity including multi-channel campaigns, in coordination with Global Marketing, partnerships and contracts with third parties, agency management, corporate presentations, conferences, webinars, and fairs/tours to support organizational goals (e.g., enhance pipeline diversity, grow quality leads and GradSelect opt-ins, support prep product revenue and GMAC Tours registration / attendance, etc.).Maintain a robust activity calendar to effectively execute planned marketing activities with the overarching objective to build preference for GMAC portals as the preferred source of information and GMAC assessments as the preferred path through which to gain admission to GME programs, ensuring coordination and collaboration with the product marketing and digital marketing teamsGather market insights from candidates, partners, organizations, and influencers to inform the organization and support the development of GMAC's strategy, the marketing strategy, and the content strategy. As required, conduct regular surveys, focus group discussions and other research in key candidate markets to understand and track candidate behavior, and build campaigns accordingly.Develop and execute marketing campaigns through relevant channels to reach schools as well as secondary stakeholders such as industry alliances and corporate recruiter(s) thereby supporting the B2B market development efforts of GMAC in the Americas. Prepare standardized marketing support material such as collateral, presentations, etc. to enable effective outreach to schools for market development visits and conferences.Provide leadership and mentorship to marketing team within Americas, serving as formal supervisor to Field Marketing Manager and contingent workers. Ensure individual training plans to make sure 'on the job skills' are put in place for team members; Foster greater engagement between team members, regional marketing colleagues and global marketing partners. Build and nurture a culture of market problem/opportunity identification and possible solutions.Oversee the annual field engagement and regional partnership strategy and the successful implementation of tactics. Ensure strong relationships with Test prep companies and admission consultants in the region. Set annual goals, KPIs, ROI tracking for all partners.Partner with Senior Manager, Media Relations to maintain thought leadership for GMAC through PR initiatives. Leverage regional as well as R&D insights to create opportunities for effective public relations engagement with relevant media.Partner closely with the Americas digital candidate marketing team to ensure strategic alignment across consumer facing channels to support driving awareness, preference and conversion for the GMAT and any other prioritized candidate facing products.Conduct high level market research and provide regular insights to internal stakeholders on market trends, market environment, legislation, key players, competitors and influencing organizations, etc.Prepare campaign briefs, competitor intelligence updates and state of market reports for internal use. Report metrics for monthly operations report and business review.Contribute as a member of the broad MD team to help enhance and promote all aspects of the work in the region. This includes achievement towards all regional objectives, communication of regional marketing initiatives, organization of professional development events in the region, and any other duties assigned by the Regional Director, Americas & Europe.Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university in related field; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.5 years' progressive experience in marketing / product marketing, including partner engagement.2 years' progressive supervisory experience.Experience developing marketing and communication strategies and programs.Knowledge of, and experience in, working across various channels within the marketing mix.Experience working with GA4, tracking and analytics.Strong operational acumen with key focus on continuous improvement, flawless execution and process implementation and stability.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to analyze, interpret, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data and create actionable information.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills, and cross-cultural sensitivity.Ability to guide others in resolving complex issues of significance to the organization.Comfort with multi-tasking.Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Desired Skills/Experience:

Master's degree or MBA, ideally in Marketing.Strong digital knowledge - particularly paid media campaign management and email campaign planning and implementation - and experience in HubSpot / similar tools.Proficiency establishing and nurturing professional networks, partnerships, and alliances.Comfortable sharing opinions in fast-paced environments.Ability to critically evaluate new marketing or business opportunities and recommend ways to leverage them.Budget and agency management experience.At GMAC, we offer:
