Job Description:
As part of the Kerr sales organization, the
Territory Manager
will meet or exceed sales goals within an assigned territory. As a leading dental supplier, you will work with existing customers, while growing the customer base across multiple dental market segments and channels. Building strong partnerships with our authorized dealer network representatives will ensure successful sales growth in the territory.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goalsAcquire specific product knowledge through online, in person and in field sales trainingStay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales and marketing effortsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships in territory to become a trusted advisor.Build advocacy with dealer partners to drive customer acquisition and growth in existing accounts.Consistent use of CRM to manage sales opportunities and growth within the territoryManage assigned geographical territory within allocated expense budgetParticipate in local trade shows and company meetings as requiredUse acquired understanding of the business, advanced product knowledge and developed expertise in one or more areas, to help develop others within the team or field.Work with large or complex territories or accounts, and/or serve as a team lead within the region

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years successful B2B sales experience, preferred within dental spaceValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordCandidate must live within the designated territory/geography

B2B selling experience using a proven sales modelCapable of digesting and verbalizing technical product and clinical information.Ability to work independently, plan and prioritize workloadCapacity to work collaboratively, while also having the ability to take a leadership role with the larger teamStrong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate technical, chemical, and mechanical information simply and conciselyAdvanced skills in building relationships with clinicians, decision makers, and dealer partners to build preference for the representative, Kerr products and the Kerr BrandAbility to make decisions with consideration to business impact for both current and future opportunitiesEnhanced self-awareness with a continued focus on self-improvementDemonstrated leadership capabilities with a proved reputation of helping the business growKnowledge of the Envista Business System (EBS), working towards certification in a relevant EBS tool
Travel / Location Requirement
Ability to travel including evenings, weekends, and overnight stays up to 40%

Target Market Salary Range:
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
