Pendleton Production ManagerJob Summary:This position is located at the Milliken Pendleton Finishing Plant located in Pendleton, SC and reports to the Plant Manager. The position is responsible for leading a team of hourly production associates and for achieving productivity, efficiency, cost, quality, delivery, and safety objectives.Key Responsibilities:Manage a team of production associates:
Foster a working environment that promotes open communications, teamwork and individual engagement to accomplish goals and objectivesEnsure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner to meet delivery objectivesEnsure all associates are paid correctlyEnsure that written performance evaluations of supervised associates are completed as required, provide continuous feedback on personnel performance issues, and take immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies or problems
Ensure all associates are trained in and fully participate in the safety processEnsure appropriate job related training is given to all associates and provide the necessary resources so that associates are able to perform their job-related duties within the ISO and MPS frameworkWork closely with Human Resources to successfully manage personnel related procedures to include:
Analysis of current and future hiring needsInterviewing and hiring processTraining and cross-training plansAdministering disciplinary action
