Essential Duties:
As a Marketing Assistant/Administrator, you will provide crucial support to the marketing team by assisting with various administrative tasks and helping to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives. Your role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the marketing department and the successful implementation of marketing strategies.
Responsible For:
Administrative Support:
Manage and organize marketing files, documents, and digital assets.
Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate calendars for the marketing team.
Prepare and distribute marketing reports, presentations, and other documents.
Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls on behalf of the marketing department.
Data Management:
Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing marketing data and metrics.
Maintain marketing databases and contact lists.
Help in data entry and data cleansing tasks as needed.
Content Management:
Update and maintain the company's website, blog, and social media profiles.
Assist in content creation, including writing and editing marketing materials.
Coordinate with designers, writers, and other team members to ensure content is delivered on time.
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
Market Research:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Compile research findings into reports for the marketing team's use.
Event Support:
Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events, trade shows, and conferences.
Help with logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
Budget Tracking:
Assist in tracking marketing expenses and ensuring they stay within budget.
Process invoices and handle financial paperwork related to marketing activities.
Communication:
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners or vendors as needed.
Maintain open communication channels within the marketing department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete work within own function, often without established procedures
Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
Support all functions of Marketing and Sales
Contribute to marketing goal attainment through a supporting role
Analyze and report on data to improve processes
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create, edit, copy, and manipulate documents
Experience working with Salespeople, marketing staff, vendors and medical office staff
Ability to analyze and report on data in order to improve processes
Ability to interact with vendors, sales reps, patients and medical staff
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
