Position Responsibilities:
Monitor safety for all field operations and provide proactive safety solutions
Complete record keeping as required
Perform site orientations
Develop safety reports, training, and site-specific health and safety programs
Conduct site inspections, observations, and process reviews
Act as a point of contact for safety issues and inquiries and ensure compliance with accident investigations and reports
Review subcontractor safety policies
Assist with OSHA correspondence
Assist with the pre-task analysis process
Required Skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
Ability to balance multiple agendas and prioritize tasks
Demonstrates leadership and accountability
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in a construction based health and safety role or similar position
Experience leading a small team of safety representatives preferred
Education:
Associates degree in safety or related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience may be substituted for a degree
OSHA 510
Safety certifications are preferred, but not required
