This position leads all aspects of the US Marketing function, including building brand plans for Zenpep and potentially future brands. It is responsible for embedding and leading marketing frameworks across all geographies and products in Nestle Health Science, such as the cross-functional brand planning process. Additionally, it ensures centralized marketing expertise to support affiliates globally, including Omni-Channel Marketing, which is essential for the organization's success. This role is integral to achieving the goal of becoming the leading company in the treatment of GI-related diseases.
STRATEGIC IMPACT:
Leads a small team of product managers responsible for all strategic planning for the brand, including but not limited to: Brand Plan, Pricing, market Access, Resource build- Sales, HCP, Patient, KOL, Competitive intelligence, and Omni Channel. Manages identification of marketplace trends, targets and financial impacts which shape marketing and go-to-market strategies for the US Pharmaceutical NHSc portfolio. Lead insights generation for new business development and interfaces closely with Sales division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and execution of Nestle Health Science’s marketing vision and strategy, including target patient identification, brand positioning, and brand character development.
Collaborate with US partners to embed the brand plan and support local execution through your team.
Establish frameworks, metrics, and strategies for brand building and channel marketing.
Partner with clinical, medical, and market access colleagues to create a value story for private and government payers globally.
Provide thought leadership by staying current with evolving online media, technology, and competitive trends.
Manage and leverage external agencies' creative capabilities to build brands and channel strategies across various marketing mixes and customer segments.
Oversee the brand marketing budget.
Ensure the team establishes clear brand performance tracking and diagnosis systems, and develop action plans for course correction.
Identify new capabilities that enhance competitive advantage and product usage.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
10-15+ years' experience in commercial roles of increasing responsibility and ideally 7+ years' experience in the marketing of specialty products.
Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent, MBA preferred, but not essential
Launch experience in US and outside US geographies
Ability to travel approximately 30%
Ability to build and manage teams to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies
Proven experience with marketing of approved specialty therapeutics
Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, with proven track record of driving tactical execution within department, internal cross functional teams and external partners
Excellent analytical and creative problem solving, strategic analysis and planning capabilities, involving complex situations
Highly developed oral and written communication skills and organizational experience
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Require ability to successfully work cross functionally to build relationships that drive results.
Require proven leadership experience including building, mentoring and retaining a high performing team
Require strong ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with competing priorities
Successful experience achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules
Proven ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders including KOLs and patient advocacy groups
Strategic and creative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative leadership in developing marketing strategies and communications programs that engage a variety of diverse stakeholders
Strong knowledge of current digital marketing landscape
The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000 to $230,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
