We are seeking a Corporate Quality Control Managerfor our customer, County Prestress, LLC.

Job Duties:Oversee Quality Control programs at all County Prestress manufacturing locations.Regular travel required to the manufacturing locations.Verifies location quality control procedures, documentation and reports conform to approved County processes.Creation and maintenance of mix designs.Oversee accelerated curing practices.Manages the Location Quality Control Managers oversight of processes for quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.Directs and manages the developmental plan for of quality control managers, supervisors and technicians.Mentor to Location Quality Control Managers.Establishes and maintains procedures for inspecting materials, parts and products at different stages of production.Records observations and makes recommendations for improving processes.Ensures quality standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry are being met.Regularly observes the production process including setup, casting, stripping and storage of product and recommend improvements.Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance improvements.Coordinates regularly with Operations Managers at each location to ensure quality goals are being met. Prepares reports for tracking quality issues for executive management staff to review. Maintains communication with Engineering to identify potential improvements. Stays up to date on PCI requirements and coordinates activities surrounding maintenance of PCI certifications. Sets workplace housekeeping standards for locations.
Work Environment:Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperaturesWork near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazardsWork in a noisy environment
Physical Requirements:Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequentlyCarrying / Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionallySittingStanding / Walking / ClimbingSquatting / Crouching / Kneeling / BendingPushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder occasionally
Experience & Qualifications:ACI Field Technician Level 1PCI level III certification10+ years prior experience in prestress quality control or plant management experienceStrong knowledge of a manufacturing environment.Prestress plant and quality control experience required.Ability to interpret construction plans, shop drawings and job specifications.Proficient Computer Skills with Microsoft Office.Solid math aptitude.Must have the ability to train and obtain technical certifications as directed and supported by the company.Strong leadership qualities.Ability to work independently.Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.Bachelors degree required.
