JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified Information Assurance Analyst to support US Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, with the ability to protect and secure systems by implementing the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance (IA) requirements, maintaining compliance, and monitoring critical assets for vulnerabilities and security risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and enforce IA measures that support DoD requirements and 8570 standards.Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.Perform system scans, manage logs, and analyze results to detect potential security breaches or vulnerabilities.Coordinate with system administrators and network engineers to ensure compliance with IA security policies.Develop and deliver reports detailing security status, compliance results, and recommendations for future security enhancements.Provide support for IA compliance reviews and certification processes to maintain DoD standards.Collaborate with team members to develop, test, and evaluate system security measures, enhancing overall security posture.QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications include:
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance (DoD)
Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree or higher with 3+ years of IT experience; ORA High School Diploma with 7+ years of IT experience.
Certifications:
DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification (one of the following):
CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
DoD 8570 IAM Level III Certification (one of the following):
CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, or CCISO.
Windows or LinuxComputing Environment (CE) Certification approved by Army DoD 8750.
