Are you an experienced firewall engineer with deep expertise in Palo Alto technologies and cybersecurity? As a Senior Firewall Engineer at Arbella, you'll play a critical role in securing and optimizing our network infrastructure. Working within our cybersecurity team, you'll lead firewall initiatives to build and maintain a robust perimeter defense and collaborate on strategies that protect Arbella's digital assets.
This role involves hands-on work with Palo Alto firewalls, focusing on advanced configurations, incident response, and policy enforcement. Your strategic insights and technical expertise will be essential in enhancing our security posture and mitigating threats effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Firewall Security:
Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls to maintain secure network operations and defend against cyber threats. Collaborative Security Strategy:
Work closely with the cybersecurity team to design and implement firewall policies that align with Arbella's security objectives. Incident Management and Response:
Take the lead in analyzing and responding to firewall-related security incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolutions. Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain detailed documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures to support compliance and operational continuity. Mentorship and Development:
Provide guidance and training to junior team members, fostering best practices and knowledge-sharing within the team. What Makes This Role Unique?

Key Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in firewall engineering and network security. Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls. Palo Alto certifications (e.g., PCNSA, PCNSE) are a plus. Strong background in incident response, network protocols, and security analysis. Proven leadership skills with a collaborative approach and a commitment to mentorship.
