The Position
Our Business Development Representative will lead our efforts to find, prioritize, and develop, new commercial relationships with partners that meaningfully increase demand for our print-on-demand solutions. This includes defining and refining the most effective acquisition strategies and managing process rigor for prospect and lead scoring to maximize new account win rates with highest priority targets.
Key Responsibilities
Manages prospects to win-rates and growth acceleration through a formal funnel and pipeline management process. Builds an active and robust pipeline of promising strategic partnership opportunities. Develops relationships and builds trust with key strategic partners. Collaborates with marketing to develop relevant plans and assets to accelerate sales cycles and achieve targets. Negotiates commercial terms (forecast, pricing, timelines). Collaborates with internal merchandising and product development teams to inform the roadmap and ensure that our assortment and capabilities meet the demands and needs of the target market. Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs. Arranges business meetings with prospective clients. Promotes the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives. Leads executive team’s development of lead/demand generation strategies. Skills and Knowledge
Commercial understanding and awareness of POD business from either running your own business, by having experience in the industry, or managing new customer acquisition. Strong strategic, acquisition process management, and leadership skills. Strong verbal, written and, presentation skills. Excellent organizational and performance analytics skills. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a similar program of study, or equivalent work-related experience. MBA not required but preferred. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role. Related business development experience in a high growth environment up to 20% Overnight/North American travel
