Quixote by Sunset Studios is one of the largest companies in TV and Film physical production, with the largest fleet of trailers in the Los Angeles market in addition to its vast portfolio of sound stages, light & grip, trucks, generators, production supplies, and more. In addition to LA, our operations for production services include New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Albuquerque.
The Sales Manager, Film/TV Transportation is a critically important member of the Sales team. This position is responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships while also expanding Quixote's customer base. The Sales Manager must stay well-informed of all opportunities in the LA Film/TV transportation market and have a thorough knowledge of all pertinent information related to our business and the clients we serve. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills in an environment that demands exceptional performance.
Reports to: VP, TV/Film Sales
What You'll Do:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in the film and TV transpo market, such as coordinators and captains.Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Quixote transportation equipment and services and know how to present their value proposition to our clients.Close sales and maximize the number of Quixote units (trailers, trucks, generators) taken on each show.Partner with other members of the transpo sales team and the TV/Film sales team more broadly to help the department achieve sales goals.Collaborate with transpo operations on unit service, maintenance, repair and customizations to ensure client needs are met.Ensure all incoming calls from clients are answered and the information provided is accurate and thorough.Periodically engage with clients through location and set visits and industry events as needed.Possess a thorough knowledge of competitors' pricing, equipment features, marketing, etc.Periodically work with management and attend meetings to inform assessment of Quixote's performance in the market and influence overall strategy.Maintain rental schedule through Fleetmaster based on equipment and vehicle availability and client needs (i.e., check availability of items before holding for clients).Collaborate with the Quixote marketing department to keep Quixote brand in front of our customer base.Identify and understand changing customer needs and new opportunities within new and existing market segments to ensure a strong competitive position.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.What You'll Need:
5+ years in sales related roles within the Film/TV transportation industryThorough knowledge of transportation equipment (trailers, trucks, and generators)Established network of transportation department crew members on Film/TV ProductionsProficiency with FleetMaster (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (required)Must work well with co-workers and contribute to an overall positive team cultureMust have strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to anticipate needs and adapt to changes in a high-volume environmentMust be reliable, professional and possess good judgmentMust have strong interpersonal skills and effective, clear communication skillsMust have a flexible schedulePlease note, the candidate selected for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and employment verification,

Compensation:
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is between $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the Law, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
