Huntington-Hill Imaging Center (managed by California Medical Business Services, LLC) is dedicated to improving medical practices through the use of innovative technologies, strategic partnerships, and years of industry experience. Our efforts are directed toward providing quality patient care in the Radiology field. Our team consists of Board Certified Radiologists, Medical Administrators, Technologists, Billing and Scheduling staff, and Patient Support staff.

We are currently seeking an

Medical Data Entry Clerk - Charge Posting

to provide support to the Data Entry team. This full-time position will have a 40 hour/week schedule and is located at our business office in

Arcadia . We welcome you to apply!

The scheduled shift is as follows:Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:10pm (variable when needed)Ocassional Saturday overtime (as needed)There is an opportunity to work remotely after successfully passing the introductory period and meeting goals.Pay Range: $21.00/hour-$22.50/hour

This role will require a proficiency in learning our billing application. Data Entry - Charge Posting will be responsible for all charge and miscellaneous tasks including - visit creation, lookups for unidentified insurance, non-post accounts, mail separation and distribution, mailing paper claims with required documentation, uploading workers compensation claims, and routing of phone calls to various areas. The position requires monitoring daily workflow and contacting the proper persons and escalating to the Data Entry Supervisor when appropriate. Position is also responsible for keeping up with system changes (hospital, clinic, insurance companies) and communicating with other team members.

What You Will Do:

Look up and enter insurance correctly on unidentified visits.Identify, separate, and distribute incoming mail.Send paper HCFA with proper documentation for all practices.Upload claims with supporting documentation for workers compensation.Answer and route incoming calls.In Imagine, work - Claim Exceptions, Statements, Mail Return, Fast Translate, Charge Central Buckets.Insurance and Patient Mapping.Create Visits and Post Manual ChargesReconcile all clients charges on a monthly basisContribute to team goals and work on special projects.What You Will Bring:

High School diploma or GED.Experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties.Basic proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.Typing skills (minimum of 40 words per minute).10 key skills and basic math skills necessary.Must be comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced environment.Basic understanding of healthcare claims processing.Strong attention to detail.Ability to multi-task.Knowledge of healthcare websites and how to verify eligibility and benefits (PPO, HMO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal).Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally.What Your Work Enrivonment Will Be Like:
