Job Details:
The home infusion pharmacy manager develops, implements, and monitors functional processes for the home care pharmacy and assumes complete responsibility for its management. The position requires the individual to manage, supervise and practice in the daily operational activities of the pharmacy. Establishes pertinent policies and procedures following state and national regulatory agency guidelines.
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy. Plans for and administers the operational and capital budgets. Develops and coordinates the pharmacy's performance improvement program which is an integral part of the overall home care program. Prepares employee performance evaluations. Participates in various management and pharmacy practice activities of the medical center pharmacy and home care departments. Provides feedback on home infusion pharmacy operational issues and performance to the executive director of home care and the medical center's director of pharmacy.Department Specific Job Details:
