Software Applications Engineer
to provide Automation and Orchestration services for Commercial Off-the-Shelf software products and enterprise system management to include integration services, software repair, and diagnostic testing for all system software and layered products.Responsibilities include:Application engineering support including performance monitoring, software integration, software configuration, and upgrade activities for Off-the-Shelf software products.
Deliver service automation capabilities, including provisioning, implementation, testing, backout, and configuration, compatible with current software productsCoordinate and collaborate with internal and external teams to gather information from customers on their needs to design, create, or integrate software to match their desiresEngage with vendors to obtain support when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required:Requires a min 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA, or Min 3 years with PhD; 4 years additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degreeActive TS/SCI clearance is requiredExperience in software engineering and integration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf software productsMust have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)Desired:ITIL Foundations certification desired
