Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeets with client's groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events.Guide clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies, and procedures.Keeps clients informed as to status of deadlines schedules, including but not limited to floor plan submissions, meeting room set-ups to provide equipment or services needed.Maintains close contact with clients and facility staff to ensure successful events.Follow-up on all client's requests, concerns, and problems.Assist with the preparation of the client's final billing.Supervise staff and oversee all aspects of facility operations related to events.Follow SOP guidelines in all aspects of your position, this includes but is not limited to, use of to generate Event Resume.Other projects as assigned by Event Manager and Director of Events.Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.Minimum 1 years' experience in an event management level position in Events/Hospitality or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Skills and Abilities
Prior supervisory experience preferred.Strong customer service orientationServSafe and Liquor License preferred.Knowledge of the principles of facility management, services, and equipment for a similar facilityExcellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skillsComputer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of event booking and scheduling software, spreadsheet software and word processing software and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions
Ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including management.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to handle contracts, other office correspondence, etc.
