Senior Software Engineer, Back End Development

As a Senior Back End Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of key components within this new core platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation for business operations, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that meet regulatory needs for the company.Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code.Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, open source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of cloud service tools and services.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)At least 2 years of people management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree7+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js2+ years of experience with cloud services4+ years of experience in open source frameworks5+ years of people management experience2+ years of experience in Agile practices
