In this hands-on management role, you will oversee all aspects of an energy program and will work closely with both clients and our energy professionals to achieve client energy efficiency goals and other program objectives. This role will focus on learning all aspects ofprogram management, financial acumen, and strategic direction. The Program Manager I is responsible for program budget oversight, team development and engagement, vendor and client relationships, and more.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Actively engage in talent management process, including interviewing, resource planning and utilization, engagement planning, performance evaluations, and moreProvide client communications and reportingOversee program operations to ensure client requirements are metSeeks Senior Leadership support regarding developing and expanding client relationshipsSupport partner and client contract management processEstablish solid and trusted relationships with client program teamLead and support company-wide Safety effortsOrchestrate partnership and work between centralized functions and program staffRecognize when issues are occurring and seek assistance within program(s)Ensure successful delivery of program goals as indicated in Statement of WorkDevelop and manage production plan for programMonitor and manage program budgets to ensure full utilization of funds while meeting or exceeding energy goalsPrepare monthly invoices and activity reports as required to the client, partner or company management by the requested due dateManaging one to two individually ran utility programsReport out on program performance and financial metricsDeveloping financial acumen and program strategy skillsetSupport Business Development with providing information on program re-bids, RFP, and client expansions.

Position RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's in science degree or equivalent required2 or more years of management experience or 1 or more years of experience in managing energy efficiency programsBackground in engineering, technology or science and experience in working in a technical environment - preferredExperience in lighting, HVAC, and other technologies installed applications - preferredTechnical experience in developing and/or reviewing energy savings calculations to determine paybacks and incentive levels for customers - preferred
