With $5.8 billion in revenue for 2023, Clayco specializes in the "art and science of building," providing fast track, efficient solutions for industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential related building projects.The Role We Want You ForThe Senior Mechanical Designer will be working with in-house Development, Architecture, and Construction teams to provide Mechanical HVAC Design and Quality Assurance on projects for our nationwide clients.Projects will consist of life science, distribution, industrial manufacturing, food and beverage, or other industrial process markets for existing building improvements and new construction.The Specifics of the RoleProject work may include conceptual design, schematic design, and full construction documentation (drawings and specifications).Senior Mechanical Designer is involved from the beginning to foresee preliminary design challenges.As a Senior Level Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for implementing mechanical HVAC engineering design, working cooperatively with Mechanical Engineers.Knowledge of building mechanical codes to facilitate HVAC design.Strong mechanical / HVAC design capability in various institutional and industrial projectsFocus is on problem solving instead of finger pointing. The Architect, Engineer, Designer, and Contractor are on the same team.Coordination with equipment vendors, Procurement, and Preconstruction groups throughout the design process to support target-based value designs.RequirementsAssociates or technical degree.Minimum of 5 years of related HVAC design experience.Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
