Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst in Northridge,.
Responsibilities:
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations
Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
Conducts security education classes and security audits
Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken under direction of the Security Manager, this position primarily serves as the Industrial Security Analysis for advanced programs
Reviewing and processing Personnel Security Requests (PARs)
Shall conduct security briefings and maintains security education programs
Will support the management and execution of program security as it applies to program protection and industrial security oversight for our Industrial Security Programs
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of related experience; OR 1 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree
Performing and familiar with PERSEC duties
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications
Experience managing Security Vendors and keeping projects on schedule
This position requires an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
Current Top Secret clearance
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
OPSEC program experience
Self-starter with minimal supervision
Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications
Salary Range: $59,600 - $89,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
