About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer with primary responsibility for driving production stability across the organization through strong incident and problem management routines, implementation of robust observability/monitoring, strong incident resolution background and employing SRE principles. EFT’s role is to partner with the business, acting as one team to deliver simple, safe and sound, innovative and integrated products and services. EFT platforms and services are foundational to Wells Fargo and required to run the company and to satisfy our customer and employee needs. EFT must deliver every day with high availability, speed to market, strong risk management, security, scalability, agility and with financial transparency.

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) Platform group provides technology support to a portfolio of approximately 600 applications. Lines of business supported include Corporate Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Audit and Regulatory Reporting, Finance, HR, Public Affairs, and Enterprise Services Management. The position will have responsibility for platform and application support across one of more of these lines of business, while providing high value customer service and developing strong relationships with these internal stakeholders. With many of the functions and teams newly consolidated into the Enterprise organization, business and technology transformations are a key focus.

In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications

Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure

Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals

Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future

Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors

Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices

Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements

Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success

Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Interact with customer and vendor

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

2+ years of experience working in an Agile team environment

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as a member of a high performance team

Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.

Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to complex issues

Compensation range:

New York City - $133,300 - $237,100

Concord, CA - $133,300 - $237,100

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
