Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Safety Manager for a large precast concrete company in San Antonio, TX. This person will be responsible for taking a proactive approach to provide safety procedures for a 160-person facility. This includes monitoring behaviors within the plant, enforcing safety protocols, running point on compliance audits, and acting as the overall main point of contact for everything safety. Additional responsibilities include communicating updates to safety procedures to the 10-12 department heads within the facility. They will also have the opportunity to put together a safety committee comprised of different employees within different departments of the plant to drive safety best practices. Lastly, this person will have a weekly 1 on 1 with the Vice President of the TX division to provide updates and get operational direction.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience required (ideally coming from manufacturing environment -- NO OIL)
Familiar with OSHA, EAP regulations, and ISO standards
Proven experience in safety management and environmental compliance (used to production processing/workflows)
EHS compliance audits
Preventative safety
OSHA 10 Certification Experience working for a precast concrete manufacturer (EX: Metromont, GATE Precast)
Familiarity with overhead cranes and rigging (cables, chains)
OSHA 30
Military background
Familiar with air quality & stormwater regulations null
