OSI PI Administrator to work for a Major Client in the Oil and Gas Industry based in the Woodlands, TX.

Key Responsibilities:OSI PI Administration:
OSIsoft PI (Plant Information) is a real-time data infrastructure system used in industries such as oil & gas, power, utilities, and manufacturing. PI collects and stores data from various sources and enables analysis and visualization. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining this system.Skills:
PSE (PI System Explorer):The ideal candidate should be familiar with using PSE to configure and troubleshoot the PI system.
AF (Asset Framework):The candidate should have experience using AF to set up and maintain templates and models.
Analytics:The candidate should be able to create and manage analytics functions to process incoming data.
PI SMT (System Management Tools):The candidate should have experience with PI SMT for system administration tasks such as managing security, configuration, and performance of the PI Server.
Creating/Editing PI Points:The candidate should have experience with creating new PI Points (or tags) and editing existing ones to ensure accurate data collection.
GOM Topside Templates:The candidate should be able to design and maintain these templates in PI AF.
Additional Responsibilities:
Backfilling Analytics and Scripts:Candidate Should also be comfortable with scripting and automation tasks that help in managing data.
System Health Checks and Performance Maintenance:Regular health checks ensure the PI system is running efficiently and performing as expected. This includes monitoring system metrics, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting issues. Looking for someone who can maintain the overall health of the system.
