EPIC Data Modeler

Job Title: EPIC Data ModelerLocation: RemoteTax Term (W2, C2C): W2Job Type (Permanent/Contract) : ContractDuration: 1 year + contractDescription:Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain data models within the EPIC environment to support clinical, operational, and financial reporting.Collaborate with stakeholders, including data analysts, clinical staff, and IT teams, to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.Utilize EPIC's data architecture tools to design and implement solutions for data extraction and reporting.Optimize existing data models for performance and scalability.Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify trends and improve data quality.Document data models and maintain metadata repositories for reference and training purposes.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data modeling and healthcare informatics.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field.3+ years of experience in data modeling, preferably in a healthcare setting.Proficient in EPIC systems, specifically in data extraction and reporting tools.Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.Experience with data governance and quality assurance processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Skills:

EPIC certification (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle) is a plus.Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Required Skills:
