Job Description

As the Supervisor - Strategic Account Operations, you will be responsible for providing operational support while managing value-added services for an assigned customer base in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You will deliver services to enhance business performance, optimize service levels, boost productivity, and uphold high-quality standards while partnering with leaders across Sales, Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and various business units. You will champion continuous improvement and achievement of both internal and customer goals. You will report directly to the Strategic Account Manager or Operations leadership depending on the assigned customer base.

Responsibilities:Oversees and manages several functions tied to value-added services for key client whom perform work on at customer locations; these programs include, but are not limited to consignment programs, vending programs, and vendor managed inventory, billing/reportingManages processes related to data exchange with customer/partners while maintaining data integrityWorks with the Sales team to create and support the execution of the strategic account plans at key, named accountsMaintains existing relationships with priority customer stakeholders, understands key business issues, and recommends ways to deliver valueCommunicates customer activity and strategic plan progress to managementParticipates in solution development efforts that best address customer needsEngages supplier sales resources to enlist their support and create solutionsQualifications:

Bachelors Degree - Business or related field or equivalent education and experience required; Master's Degree preferred3 years in Sales or Program Management OperationsAbility to initiate and develop relationships with key customers and contractors to achieve objectivesStrong Negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with CRM software and Microsoft OfficeAble to oversee people and processes to achieve objectivesHistory of success maintaining and developing key relationshipsKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resourcesSelf-starter and able to work efficiently under pressureExperience in executing in a matrix organization managing multiple stakeholders and projectsKnowledge of industry including suppliers, customers and competitors preferredAbility to travel 0% - 25%Working Environment:

General Office

- Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.Outside Sales

- Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.Warehouse

- Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally, well ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees may be exposed to all kinds of weather and may be required to wear protective clothing. Operates heavy equipment. Strict safety regulations may be required.Outdoors

- Work is generally performed in an outdoor environment, but employee may periodically work in a general office or warehouse. Is exposed to all weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and moisture.
