Job Description
The Sales Merchandiser position is a hybrid role which operates within our Large Store segment of business and which functions as both the Account Manager and Merchandiser for a select number of large store accounts. The Sales Merchandiser serves as the primary contact between Coke Northeast management and store management. In this role, the Sales Merchandiser is responsible for building customer relationships while increasing business by selling and ordering products for a defined customer base. Additionally, the Sales Merchandiser is responsible for regularly stocking product on shelves and in coolers while ensuring that appropriate rotation standards are maintained.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Educate and excite customers about our leading portfolio of beveragesSell incremental displays, equipment placements and promotional programs where applicableMaintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets, promotional ad signage (point of sale) and displaysEnsure each account meets defined merchandising standards, determine stores' product needs and transmit appropriate replenishment ordersCommunicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate business partnersRegular lifting of up to 40 pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling and merchandisingJob Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent requiredAssociates degree or higher preferred1+ years of general work experience required1+ years of relevant sales experience preferredStrong attention to detail and follow-up skillsExcellent planning and organization skillsProficient computer application skillsMust have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push up to 40 pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reachMust have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistanceValid driver's license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirements.Benefits & Perks:
