Position Overview (Summary/Objective):
We are seeking a
Systems Administrator
to implement, maintain, and support our growing corporate and Information Technology infrastructure within a Microsoft Office 365 GCC High environment. You will be part of the Information Technology Operations team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available Information Technology Systems that meet business objectives service requirements.
This position can be based out of any ARKA sites including: Danbury, CT, Aurora, CO, Colorado Springs, CO or King of Prussia, PA.
Responsibilities:Recommending, building, and establishing processes and procedures to maintain enterprise systems in multiple environmentsRecommending, selecting, and implementing security, policies, procedures, and tools in conjunction with the company's security teamManaging and maintaining Data Center systems and Enterprise Applications to include VMWare host, NetApp storage, Windows and Linux servers and various management applicationsMonitoring system performance, utilization, and trending to ensure system availability, reliability, redundancy and sufficient capacityAdministrating and maintaining system software to support the system environment (upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations)Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issuesWorking within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructureCoordinating support and maintenance activities with outside vendors and contractorsWorking with users and other personnel for problem resolutionOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:
7+ years of systems administration experienceCompTIA Security+ is requiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experienceDemonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft and other Cloud environmentsNetworking - Good operating knowledge of networking concepts:SwitchingRoutingFirewallsDeep understanding of an array of Enterprise compute system such as:VMWare ESX/vSphere data center virtualization technologiesEnterprise storage systems such as NetApp storage systemsEnterprise backup systems such as Veeam system backup implementationsWindows server domainsRedHat, Centos, Ubuntu Linux serverPreferred Qualifications:

The position is located onsite at our facility in
Danbury, CT . This position is based out of ARKA's
