Contracts Paralegal

to provide support across the organization with all phases of contract lifecycle collaborating with colleagues and external partners.

Salary Range:

US$ 110K - 160KPrincipal Responsibilities:

Assist with all legal matters including reviewing, tracking, and executing contracts, Confidentiality agreements (CDAs) across organization.Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various contracts and agreements including vendor contracts, client agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), work orders and employment contracts.Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and conditions.Manage contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and renewal.Identify and mitigate contractual risks and issues.Maintain contract templates, contract management systems and databases to track contract status and obligations.Act as first point of contact for contractual questions for storing, managing, and retrieving contracts.Standardize policies and procedures, playbooksQualifications, Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Certified Paralegal, Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) preferred with 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal.Proven experience as a Paralegal and/or Contracts Manager in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.Skills and Abilities:

Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal lawyers and support personnel as well as external stakeholders including external law firms.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborativelyProvide wide range of organizational administrative and analytical support and assistance to legal team.Provision of legal services across the company.Expert Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with IP docketing software, contract management systems, DocuSign.Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks and able to meet timelines.Team-oriented, progressive thinker who enjoys participating in an innovative and creative work environment.Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary industrial environment.Abdera is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
