Job Summary:

Knife River is looking for a motivated and experienced Contract Administrator for our Casper Division. This position will require you to be able to work both independently and as a team player.Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Job duties include but are not limited to the following:1. Provide support for new contracts including ordering bonds, insurance, etc.2. Create billing invoices for work performed.3. Set up wage rates, process and review certified payrolls.4. Prepare subcontracts, verify proper supporting documentation including bonds and insurance, andprepare subcontractor payments per approval by the project manager.5. Provide backup support for accounting duties that will include payroll entries and maintenance, editmaterial tickets, A/R customer support which includes processing payments, and supplying invoiceand ticket copies as needed.6. Provide support with answering incoming phone calls and assisting people at the front desk as needed.7. Support management, project managers, and other staff with requests as needed.8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

. Construction accounting experience a plus but not required.. Must have experience using Microsoft Office-fluency in Excel, Adobe, Docusign and Word preferred.. Data entry skills and ability to proofread entries and make corrections as needed.. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task and face daily changing job dutiesa must.. Must have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and ability to organize and prioritize duties asneeded. This position will require a person to be a self-starter and work with minimal direction aftertraining.. Effective communication skills such as verbal, written, and listening a must.. Ability to work with people under high stress and changing situations and must be able to have flexibility indaily job duties.. Must be a dependable, self-motivated team player with good interpersonal skills, ability to maintainpositive co-worker and customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
