GENERAL SUMMARY: As a member of the Meals and Beverage team, the Category Leadership Manager will support Albertsons using point-of-sale, loyalty and shopper data to create clear direction for the category to align customer and Campbell's strategies and tactics. The Category Leadership Manager will focus on the soups & broth categories, and brands like Pacific, Campbell's Chunky, and Swanson. You will work collaboratively with Shopper Insights, Customer Sales Leads, Headquarter Category Strategy and Sales Planning to achieve Campbell and customer objectives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Key focus areas / accountabilities including how those accountabilities are managed with percentage of time allocation for each result) * Develops category strategy and assists customer with integrated category strategy development. * Provides strategic and tactical recommendations on the Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising and Pricing (DSMP) goals to improve overall category performance. * Responsible for developing customer specific presentations of relevant consumer insights, competitive responses, and new item/category selling strategies. * Develops strong working relationships with customers and cross functional departments. * Manages Category specific customer calls - e.g. Category Reviews, Business Updates, New Item Presentations, and Planogram Work * Works closely with Campbell's Sales teams to provide analytical support for key strategy changes (i.e. List Price Increases, Annual Planning) COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE: Works with cross-functional groups including the customer, customer team, and HQ resources. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 8+ years CPG/analytical experience EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED): * Strategic Insights * Technical Skills: IRI, Panel Data, Shopper 360/Symphony AI, JDA Space Planning * Category, Loyalty, & Shopper Knowledge * Strong Communication Skills * Problem Solving & Analytical Ability * Project Management * Influencing Skills * Advanced excel, PowerPoint % OF TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: 20% travel required for customer, team, and internal meetings Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $85,900-$140,800 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
