Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mailroom Clerk to join our team onsite in Montgomery, AL. The Mailroom Clerk will be responsible for managing the flow of mail and packages, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient operation of our mailroom. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Your role in our mission
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages throughout the organization.Prepare and send outgoing mail, including scheduling pickups and tracking shipments as needed.Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and related documentation.Ensure timely delivery of important correspondence within the organization.Operate mailroom equipment (e.g., postage meters, scanners) and ensure it is maintained.Coordinate with internal departments to manage mail distribution and special requests.Perform data entry and other administrative tasks to support mailroom operations.What we're looking for
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with regular bending and standing as needed.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (as occasional driving may be required).Data entry experience preferredComputer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Harver Assessment Requirement : As part of our interview process, all candidates must complete the Harver Assessment. This assessment helps us evaluate key competencies relevant to the role, including communication skills, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.What you should expect in this role
This is an onsite position in Montgomery, AL.Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

The pay range for this position is $23,700.00 - $33,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
