System Administrator - Windows Client/Server Environment

DescriptionLeidos is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a team responsible for managing a Windows Client/Server Environment. The role involves collaborating with network engineers on technical projects and requires strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Primary Responsibilities:Design and develop new engineering solutions across virtual environments, server-based solutions, and workstation deploymentsDocument engineering standards and test client architecture and engineering design solutionsEvaluate current and emerging technologies, make recommendations to engineers and managementExperience with virtualization environments such as VMware, Nutanix, and CitrixPerform Windows environment monitoring, troubleshooting, and security vulnerability mitigationBuild and deploy virtual servers, make domain level changes, and administer Active Directory infrastructureAdminister and troubleshoot Group Policy, folder permissions, and execute PowerShell scriptsIntegration of 3rd party applications and support systems by tuning performance, implementing patches, and troubleshooting issuesConfigure and deploy network printersQualifications:Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience, or Master's degree and at least 10 years of experience OR at least 16 years of experience in lieu of a degreeMust have a TS/SCI with poly to be consideredStrong knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, and third-party software patchingFamiliarity with patching tools like WSUS, SCCM, or PDQ deployDesired Skills:Experience with Multifactor Authentication technology and Webjet Admin
