Principle Scheduler

Job Summary:
The Principal Scheduler will join the Master Planning & Scheduling group within the Combat Vehicles division, supporting Program Management by developing, updating, and delivering comprehensive schedules that aid in decision-making and ensure the timely delivery of quality products and capabilities.
This role requires constructing compliant program schedules that integrate across company functions, monitoring progress, and implementing recovery plans as necessary, as well as preparing and presenting Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed, compliant program schedules to support program management.Perform horizontal and vertical integration of schedules across multiple departments, including finance, engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, and quality.Prepare and update IMS reports for program management, customers, and internal stakeholders.Monitor scheduled activities and identify performance variances, implementing recovery or workaround plans as needed.Conduct schedule analyses, including critical path and risk assessments, to ensure compliance with internal and industry requirements.Timely preparation and submission of contract deliverables related to the IMS and Integrated Master Plan (IMP).Ensure all schedules and deliverables comply with internal policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.4+ years of experience in planning and scheduling.Proficient in Open Plan and MS Project or other scheduling software.Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.Solid organization and communication skills, with an ability to multitask in a time-sensitive environment.Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles.Analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset, demonstrating innovation and sound judgment.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AcumenFuse, AcumenRisk, Milestones Pro, Oracle, and/or Cobra.Background in schedule forecasting and analysis, particularly within a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program.In-depth knowledge of DoD schedule policies and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
