As the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at Aegis Ventures, you will be instrumental in driving our mission forward by leading marketing initiatives that elevate our brand as a leader in HealthTech innovation. You will collaborate closely with our portfolio companies, health system consortium, other industry partners, and internal teams to amplify our impact and reach across the healthcare ecosystem.
This position will be based out of our office in New York City on a hybrid basis.What You'll Do:
Strategic Brand Building (30%):Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that position Aegis Ventures as a premier venture studio and health system partner driving innovation.Craft compelling narratives and messaging that showcase our unique value proposition and impact on healthcare transformation.Public Relations (PR) and Thought Leadership (30%):
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders to amplify our thought leadership and visibility.Secure media coverage, speaking engagements, and industry awards to showcase our portfolio companies and thought leadership initiatives.Content Strategy and Thought Leadership (20%):
Lead the development of impactful content, including thought leadership articles, case studies, whitepapers, and multimedia assets, to engage our target audience and drive thought leadership in HealthTech.Collaborate with subject matter experts and portfolio companies to showcase innovative solutionsand industry insights.Event Planning and Industry Engagement (10%):
Represent Aegis Ventures at industry events, forums, and panels to enhance our visibility and thought leadership in HealthTech innovation.Plan and execute strategic events, webinars, and conferences to facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within the HealthTech ecosystem.HealthTech Expertise and Partnership Development (10%):
Leverage your deep understanding of health system partnership, HealthTech trends, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.Collaborate with portfolio companies, industry partners, and HealthTech stakeholders to drivestrategic partnerships and ecosystem engagement.What You'll Need:8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a focus on brand building, PR, content marketing, and event planning in the HealthTech or venture capital industry.Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and strategic partnerships in HealthTech.Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies.Versed in modern marketing techniques and associated digital tools.What You'll Bring to the Table:Excellent storyteller and content creator.Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.Passion for innovation, HealthTech, and driving positive impact in healthcare.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, small team environment.Benefits & Perks:Competitive Compensation: Includes top-tier benefits and equity participation in all companies launched by the studio.Healthcare: Top-tier health, vision, dental, and commuter benefits.Wellness Subsidy: Monthly health & wellness subsidy.Flexible Work: Accommodates various working styles.One Medical & TalkSpace Memberships: Access to additional healthcare and mental health support.Salary Range:$190,000 - $225,000 base salary, depending on previous experience and alignment with role expectations.
