Systems Administrator

DescriptionLeidos is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a team responsible for managing a Windows Client/Server Environment. This role involves working on technical projects with network engineers, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Primary Responsibilities:Design and develop new engineering solutions across various systems, including virtual environments and workstation deployments.Document engineering standards, deploy and test client architecture solutions, and evaluate emerging technologies.Experience with virtualization environments such as VMware, Nutanix, and Citrix preferred.Perform Windows environment monitoring and troubleshooting, as well as build and deploy virtual servers independently.Mitigate security vulnerabilities and install and configure required endpoint security products.Create and manage Active Directory infrastructure, administer group policy, and execute PowerShell scripts.Integrate 3rd party applications and support systems by implementing critical patches and reviewing performance logs.Configure and deploy network printers and provide training and mentoring to team members (desired).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience, Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience, or at least 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.Strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, and third-party software patching.Familiarity with patching tools such as WSUS, SCCM, or PDQ deploy.TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.Desired Skills:Multifactor Authentication technologyWebjet AdminOriginal Posting Date:
