The
Cloud Developer
will provide day-to-day customer support and application development across the Midstream Business System Applications IT portfolio and will play a key role in advancing the organization's digital capabilities through strategic initiatives and projects. The individual selected must demonstrate a customer-first mentality, an agile and innovative mindset, and a proven technical skillset to resolve business challenges. Given the critical and dynamic nature of the organization, we require self-starters that can learn quickly, prioritize effectively, and complete technical tasks with little supervision. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning new things, the ability to explain complex technologies in a simple manner, and a strong intellectual integrity.
Responsibilities May Include:
Designing and developing applications across the Midstream Business Solutions organization.
Supporting continued advancements across the team (e.g. cloud architecture, security, knowledge sharing, monitoring, and automation).
Working with project teams, business analysts, enterprise architects, database administrators, and peer developers to evaluate business problems.
Supporting development and team process best practices.
Assuring solutions are designed and developed to meet or exceed audit requirements.
Leveraging agile development methodologies and processes.
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field
2 or more years of IT experience
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as .NET, Java, C#, Python
Proficiency in modern database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL or ORACLE
Must have a broad, technical IT background with strong analytical skills and business acumen
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with applications on cloud platforms – AWS and Azure
Experience with AI and ML
Experience with automation and process optimization
Experience with cloud native application logging, monitoring, alerting, etc.
Knowledge of standard support concepts, practices, and procedures related to cloud technologies
Planning and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus
