ZOE International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the Development Team. This position works closely with the Development Director and is responsible for overseeing new and mid-level donor strategies, including project coordination for campaigns, copywriting for blogs, newsletters, social media, and impact reports, as well as donor communications, prospect research, and assisting with proposals and reports. The Development Associate plays a pivotal role in content creation and project management, working collaboratively with the entire Development team to ensure the success of ZOE International's fundraising and communication efforts.

Development Associate Responsibilities:Donor

Campaigns and Fundraising Support:

Collaborate with the team to cultivate new donors, and create campaigns to engage and steward mid-level donors, increasing their support and long-term engagement.Copywriting for various donor communication channels, including social media, newsletters, emails, appeal letters, blog/feature articles, and impact reports.Coordinate the production schedule for all donor communication print projects, including newsletters, email appeals, impact reports, thank-you letters, and donor gifts.Create landing pages in WordPress to support fundraising campaigns.Design and create emails (including headers/graphics) in Virtuous CRM with A/B testing and email best practices.Design and create flyers, postcards, and reports for fundraising campaigns and donor communications using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.Manage and track global impact metrics for all countries ZOE operates in.Develop content for social media and digital platforms to support fundraising campaigns, events, and donor engagement strategies.Assist the team in planning and executing fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up.

Campaign Monitoring and Support:

Assist in the planning, execution and monitoring of fundraising campaigns and events.Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools to optimize strategies and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).Prepare and present regular reports on fundraising activities and progress towards goals for internal and external stakeholders.

Prospect Research and Support :

Conduct research to identify potential new donors, foundations and corporate sponsors.Proactively seek sponsorship and funding opportunities through prospecting and outreach efforts.

Proposal and Report Assistance:

Assist in writing compelling case for support documents, grant proposals, and donor follow-up reports.Collaborate with the Development team to design and produce quarterly USA reports in Canva, as well as the annual impact report.Ensure accuracy and timeliness in donor reporting and stewardship materials.

Project Management and Administrative Support:

Work directly with the Development Director and the development team to manage project workflows, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.Provide administrative support to the Development team, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and maintaining donor records.Oversee and manage email interest lists from events/conferences ZOE attends, input new contacts into the database, and ensure timely follow-up.Represent ZOE at community events and conferences by tabling, networking, and sharing ZOE's mission.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field.Experience in a nonprofit organization or ministry a plusExperience with copywriting for newsletters, blogs, impact reports, and social media.Proficiency in marketing platforms, CRM tools (such as Virtuous), Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, and BaseCamp.Experience with Google ads and Facebook ads a plus.Strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills.Knowledge of fundraising strategies, donor engagement, and nonprofit best practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on storytelling and donor-centered communication.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.Passion for ZOE International's mission
