Job Summary
The Director of Marketing will lead and manage integrated marketing initiatives including but not limited to content development, direct mail campaigns, direct publisher advertising buys, and trade marketing strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for building comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and consideration, customer engagement, and revenue growth across multiple channels, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable success.
Essential FunctionsOversee the creation and execution of a content strategy that enhances brand voice, engages target audiences, and is distributed effectively across marketing channels.Manage the creation of inspirational and informative content that fuels the company's online content hub.Partner with the digital marketing team and copywriter resources to create original content for the company website, ensuring web pages are keyword optimized and aligned with the brand tone of voice.Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels, aligning with brand guidelines and visual identity.Design and implement targeted direct mail campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. Oversee all aspects from creative development to list segmentation and performance analysis.Manage advertising program and budget with key direct publisher partners to target qualified audiences at scale. Secure integrated programs with high-impact placements to increase awareness and consideration.Track and analyze the performance of publisher partnerships. Collaborate with in-house creative team and/or third-party agencies to fulfill and traffic creative deliverables according to media plan.Provide guidance on trade marketing efforts (B2B and B2B2C), including event sponsorships, trade shows, and partnerships, to strengthen the brand's presence with key partners, organizations and business segments.Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate Consortia and Strategic Account co-op marketing programs and provide feedback on creative concepts, copy, and executions based on strategic alignment, brand standards, and consumer impact.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of all marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.Lead and mentor direct reports, set goals, manage performance, and foster professional development.CompetencyEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience in customer marketing; travel, hospitality or luxury experience a plusStrong customer-centric mindsetAbility to build effective relationships both within the company and with external stakeholdersExcellent project management, delegation, and critical thinking skills are requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalDetail-oriented; exceptional organizational and follow-up skillsDeadline-oriented; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely basisTeam player with a positive attitude who works well cross-functionallyResourceful, creative self-starter who takes initiative to learn processes and get things done with little supervisionProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, working at least two (2) days a week from our downtown Fort Lauderdale office.
