Position Summary:

Hillwood Communities is seeking a forward-thinking Marketing Manager and creative problem solver to manage all marketing and advertising efforts for its developments in Austin, TX. This person will excel at developing, managing, and executing with our agency partner(s) our brand strategy and marketing messaging through an array of initiatives including digital and traditional channels. Our ideal candidate is calm under pressure, works independently and proactively, and wields a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

Initiate and manage all marketing initiatives for Hillwood Communities’ Wolf Ranch Master Planned Community in Georgetown, TX. In addition, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the marketing programs for future development projects that Hillwood Communities acquires in the Austin market area.

Existing and New Initiatives:

Manage all Wolf Ranch, and Austin market area, assets for Hillwood CommunitiesOversight of the Wolf Ranch Marketing and Information CenterWork with the team to establish marketing strategies for new projects in the Austin marketIdentify and manage marketing consultants and vendors on an ongoing basisCollaborate and coordinate with the DFW Marketing Director to leverage and elevate the Hillwood Communities brand in the Austin marketProject Marketing Management:

Review design and copy of all content for consistency, accuracy and quality controlCollects sales traffic numbers and generate reports on trend for the project marketing planDistribute weekly sales data to Builder sales teams and corporate offices (auto report from PowerBI)Audit PowerBI numbers with sales teams quarterly (net sales, closings and specs). Report trends and observations.Monitors Builder websites to verify accurate community informationMonitor Builder pricing and competitive community homebuilder pricingDrive competition quarterly and prepare reports on marketing campaigns and prepare report of trends for project marketing plan enhancementsPrepare and oversight of monthly Builder sales meetingsPrepare and present Annual Builder Budget & Marketing Presentation meetingsDigital and Traditional Marketing (with Agency assistance):

Manage and provide direction to agency partner(s) for development and execution of marketing initiatives and media plans for all channels, particularly digitalAudit Website information quarterly and verify all links workAudit all digital ads for accuracy/relevancy quarterlyRespond / coordinate responses to online engagementManage content for monthly e-newsletters (realtor and consumer)Summarize and report quarterlyObserve social media platforms and make sure content is relevant and comments/ messages are properly responded to.Property Technology:

Work with builder team members and property technology vendor to ensure online new home shopping platform is current for home pricing and floorplan offeringsOnboard new builder team members on the property technology platform to ensure sales, closings, spec inventory, and plan reviews are accurateAwards:

Spearheads awards strategy to elevate the development locally and coordinate with Dallas-Fort Worth marketing team for the national and state levelPublic Relations:

Responsible for local media relations strategies, including collaboration with PR agency to draft and distribute press releases.Realtors / Events:

Conduct outreach, office visits and site toursManage Realtors Events and ongoing communicationPlan and execute Events (Grand Openings, Realtor Events, etc.)Follow up on engagementBudgeting:

Prepare and manage annual budgetReview monthly Budget vs. Actual performanceInvoice Coding, contract management with third party vendorsTeam Engagement:

Regular meetings with GM/DM to review strategies and implementationPrepare and participate in presentations, as neededRegular meetings with Lifestyle/HOA Managers to coordinate with the project marketing planParticipate in monthly marketing team calls with DFW and HoustonAttend and participate in plan for quarterly marketing meetings held in Dallas/Austin/Houston communitiesAttend any planned benchmarking trips with marketing teamRequired Skills/Abilities:

Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to interface with senior-level executives and present to large audiencesExceptional project management skills with keen attention to detailFamiliarity with reviewing and tracking key performance indicatorsProficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, web/video conferencingFamiliarity with Adobe Creative SuiteFamiliarity with Cecilian PartnersFamiliarity with Power BIEducation and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related fieldMinimum 2-3 years of consumer marketing or brand management experience; real estate development and/or hospitality industries, a plus
