The FIS Platform team operates as an incubated startup within FIS, with a mandate to create a world-class embedded finance platform. We have a fast-paced and fun group that believes strongly in customer-centricity and setting a high bar for everything we ship.
As a Product Designer II at FIS, you'll help design the future of banking experience for millions of consumers. This is a position within our new design group, focusing on a mix of building banking experiences from scratch, redesigning existing SaaS banking products, and contributing to an FIS design system.
As a Product Designer II, you'll shape the future of banking products used by millions globally, driving creative and strategic design leadership across our platforms.
What You'll Do:Collaborate with senior designers to develop engaging product experiences, participating in projects from concept to execution.Participate in brainstorming sessions, user research activities, and feedback reviews to improve design solutions.Contribute to the design of financial products, owning specific experiences from conception to development.Use design tools like Figma to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that help visualize product features.Collaborate with user research, translating findings into journeys that illuminate pain points and potential solutions.Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and ensure designs are feasible, proactively unblocking themselvesCreate and communicate working plans,continuously setting expectations with cross-functional partners and managementParticipate in critiques, showing work early and often while also contributing to the design quality and fidelity of team membersWhat You'll Need:
2-3 years of experience in a product design role (internships or freelance work are applicable).Basic understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and usability best practices.Familiarity with design software like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.Effective storytelling skills and the ability to present designs with impact.Proficiency in connecting business goals, research insights, and product goals to create and iterate.A desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, receiving feedback and applying it to improve your work.A portfolio demonstrating relevant projects that showcase your design thinking and problem-solving skills.What We Offer:

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.00 - $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
